Windblown Rose Applique Quilt with Border measures 101 x 112 inches to fit your Queen size bed.  There are approximately  7 handquilted stitches per inch on this Windblown Rose Amish Quilt. Lancaster, where this beautiful quilt is from, is the center of PA Dutch where the Amish and Old Order Mennonites live.  Red, maroon and burgundy roses are contrasted beautifully against the ivory white fabric.

Harnessing the power of the wind that is constantly blowing across the rural open fields, windmills dot the countryside of the Amish and Mennonite farm in South Central Pennsylvania.  Combining beautiful red roses with their summer  blooms, and the constant flow of the wind across the landscape, our quilter has created this wonderful handquilted quilt to celebrate the rural life.
