This extra large Escalating Patches Amish Patchwork Quilt measures  107 x 116 inches  and will fit a large King size bed. Hand quilted, it has approximately  5-6 handquilted stitches per inch, and is from Lancaster County PA. The broad array of beautiful fabrics in differing shades of dark chocolate to blue contrast with a rippling effect across this magnificent quilt.

Living on the family farm where the large gathering room window looks out over the creek, the Amish quilter handstitches her quilts during the long hours in the winter months, and during the hottest part of the day during the summer, when it is just too hot to go outside to tend to the garden chores.
