Double Wedding Ring Patchwork Amish Quilt measures 98 x 113 inches and fits a Queen or King size bed.  This intricate piecing is created with a variety of earthtone fabrics and colors to make a stunning quilt in a timeless and classic design from Lancaster County PA.  There are approximately  5-6 handquilted stitches per inch.  Double Wedding Ring Patchwork Amish Quilt  has a creamy ivory background in the intertwined wedding rings. 

In Lancaster County and in the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania, there are communities of Mennonite who are Old Order, which means that they do not drive automobiles.  Located in this Old Order community, there are many carriage shops (to repair buggies), men wearing broadfall black trousers and women with solid colored dresses of purple and blue are a common sight. November is the month for weddings in the Amish and Old Order Mennonite communities, after the harvest is in, and before the weather becomes disruptive.
