This Magic Carpet Patchwork Quilt measures 98 x 110 inches and fits a Queen bed.  It is symmetrical, so could be used sideways on a King bed with a dust ruffle. It is quilted using both dark and light quilting threads. There are approximately  7  handquilted stitches per inch.

Tina, who has been sewing for decades, has used her fabric pallet to create this wonderland of color, so reminiscent of a walk through a lilac or iris garden.  This quilt pattern closely resembles the Drunkards Path patchwork pattern, but the Magic Carpet quilt is made of all straight cuts to make it’s curving patterns.  A fine example of use of shadow to create depth and sway, with bright colors to demonstrate life and beauty.  Wonderful quilting on this cheery, bright quilt.
