This Terra Glow Twinkling Star Amish Quilt measures approx 103 x 117 inches to fit your King bed. It was pieced, or sewn together by Katie W, my neighbor who is Old Order Mennonite. Then it was handquilted by Nancy K, an Amish quilter who lives just over the mountain from us. Nancy lives in a tiny little cottage just outside the side door of her sons home. Her husband used to run the sawmill that her son now owns, and Nancy can look out her front window and see the stacks of lumber and the comings and going of business and life. Completed in an arrangement of browns with a smattering of ochre and ivory, this Terra Glow Twinkling Star Quilt really is stunning. There are approximately 7-8 handquilted stitches per inch on this Terra Glow Twinkling Star Amish Quilt. Now that her children are grown and with their own families, the Amish quilter spends her day surrounded by the beauty that flows from her hands. Her quilting threads make fine tracings of wonder, and the beauty she creates makes a wonderful centerpiece and focal point of art for your room.
