This Tan Blue and White Star Crystal Embroidered Patchwork Amish Quilt is cross stitched by hand on white fabric with a beautiful blue thread in Star Crystal formations, and then is framed in tan sashing with a solid blue to make a stunning piece of work. Naomi B loves to quilt, and fills this cross stitched quilt with a lot of time and tiny stitches that are amazing. You know that embroidered quilts take a lot of time to make, so they are filled with the love and patience that the Amish and Old Order Mennonites are known for with every stitch they take. Not only is each block embroidered by hand with an embroidery needle and embroidery floss, then the embroidered blocks must be sewn together with sashing which frames the embroidery, and finally it is put into the quilting frame and quilted by hand. This Tan Blue and White Star Crystal Embroidered Patchwork Amish Quilt measures approximately 82 x 104 inches to fit your Full or Double size bed, and was hand quilted by Naomi B who lives just over the mountain from us in a small Amish settlement nestled on the hillside. There are approximately 6-7 handquilted stitches per inch on this Star Crystal Embroidered Amish Quilt from South Central Pennsylvania. Please note, that the blue dots are still visible.
