Sunflower Sister Choice Star Patchwork Amish Quilt measures approximately 96 by 112 inches to fit your Queen size bed. Sunflower yellow with sage and ochre accents make up this stunning Sunflower Sister Choice Star Patchwork Quilt. This cheery and beautiful quilt was handquilted by Mrs Elam B, an Amish quilter who lives a few miles down the road from us. There are approximately 5-6 handquilted stitches per inch.
The Amish have small but beautiful farms, the size that can be maintained by horse and plow, and their houses and front yards brim over with flowers of all colors and sizes. Everything is in order and there is an appreciation of beauty and color in all they do. Along the fence row, there is a long line of nodding sunflowers, growing in the summer to give food to the birds when the snow fills the valley.
This Amish Quilt comes with a Level One Certification (click here for more info) stating the name of the quilter.
