This Stunning Blue and White Embroidered Patchwork Amish Quilt is cross stitched by hand in a beautiful blue and then is framed in blue sashing to make a stunning piece of work. You know that embroidered quilts take a lot of time to make, so they are filled with the love and patience that the Amish and Old Order Mennonites are known for with every stitch they take. Not only is each block embroidered by hand with an embroidery needle and embroidery floss, then the embroidered blocks must be sewn together with sashing which frames the embroidery, and finally it is put into the quilting frame and quilted by hand. This Stunning Blue and White Embroidered Patchwork Amish Quilt measures approximately 80 x 103 inches to fit your Full or Double size bed. This authentic handquilted Amish Quilt was hand quilted by Naomi B who lives just over the mountain from us in a small Amish settlement nestled on the hillside. There are approximately 7-8 handquilted stitches per inch on this Blue and White Embroidered Patchwork Amish Quilt from South Central Pennsylvania.
