This delightful Sister Choice Sunshine Star Patchwork Amish Quilt with beautiful blue and warm yellow and ochre fabrics is a magnificent piece of art. Stunning, warm and colorful, this Patchwork Amish Quilt measures approximatley 98 x 114 inches to fit your Queen size bed. Handquilted by Katherine Z, our Amish quilter who lives in a house just over the mountain from us. There are approximately 5 handquilted stitches per inch.
The Amish have small but beautiful farms, the size that can be maintained by horse and plow, and their houses and front yards brim over with flowers of all colors and sizes. Everything is in order and there is an appreciation of beauty and color in all they do. Along the fence row, there is a long line of nodding sunflowers, growing in the summer to give food to the birds when the snow fills the valley.
