This bright and colorful Amish Quilt measures approximatley 95 x 111 inches to fit your Queen size bed. This cheery and beautiful quilt was handquilted by Nancy A, an Amish quilter who lives just over the mountain from us. There are approximately 6 handquilted stitches per inch.
Pennsylvania has several communities of Old Order Amish scattered throughout the state, where the small one room schoolhouse is just a buggys ride away from home, and the grandchildren come by in the summer to help put up the garden. Family, food, friends and faith are the spokes around which life revolves, and handquilting Amish Quilts is a way to help the family, and be with friends at the same time.
