I am the Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley is the embroidered saying in the center of this Amish quilt. A colorful array of different tie dyed and batik flowers make up the bouquets that surround the central motif. The Rose of Sharon and Lily of the Valley is a favorite applique pattern of the Old Order Mennonite and Amish quilters from central Pennsylvania.
