Very unusual, and the Resting Heart could be viewed as the Amish quilters trusting heart. The victorian flower, Hollyhock, or Althea Rose, is seen frequently around the Amish and Mennonite homes in Pennsylvania. This Flower Star Resting Heart Applique Quilt measures 104 x 108 inches to fit your King size bed. There are approximately 7 handquilted stitches per inch.
The burgundy and green fabrics are stitched on an off-white fabric to create this beautiful quilt. The handquilting has the feathered leaves and the central feathered resting heart. A wonderful and unusual quilt from the heart of Lancaster County PA.
