A creamy ivory fabric is the background fabric for this Reminisce Horse Wagon Whole Cloth Amish Quilt. There are so many delightful scenes hand quilted on this wholecloth masterpiece, with the central picture being a wagon pulled by six horses. The title of the quilt is Country Reminisce Hitch, Maine to California 1893. The horses are getting ready to pull the wagon from the falling oak leaves of Maine, to the trees and sunshine of California. Flocks of birds are fluttering over the horses and wagon which are all travelling west. There are waves quilted under the horse and wagon scene. Around the border are Good Luck horseshoe wreaths filled with flowers, and birds with ribbons and flower are also around the border. If you look carefully, you can see a small lantern hand quilted on the side of the wagon. This masterpiece of hand quilting was done by Mary B, an Amish Quilter who lives within a few miles of us. Reminisce Horse Wagon Whole Cloth Amish Quilt measures approximately 90 x 108 inches to fit your Double or small Queen bed, and there are approximately 7 handquilted stitches per inch. Reminisce Horse Wagon Wholecloth Amish Quilt is a masterpiece of fine quilting. The beauty and elegance of this work of art is amazing. The fabric on the back is a soft cream.
