This Peacock Applique Amish Quilt with Border measures 101 x 115 inches  to fit your King or Queen bed.  There are approximately 6 to 7 handquilted stitches per inch on this Peacock Amish Quilt.  Beautifully handquilted, this predominately plum and purple Peacock Quilt is from the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch, Lancaster County PA.

Beauty taken from nature, and what is reflected in their quilts are the scenes that the Amish quilter can view from their kitchen window.  The rural starry sky, the garden flowers, and the beautiful strutting Peacock as he walks between the garden rows.  Note how the two Peacocks are slightly different in size and length of tail!
