Varying shades of deep reds, burgundy and earth tones make up this Broken Star Red Earth Patchwork Quilt, all on a creamy ivory fabric. It is from Lancaster County PA, and has approximately 5-6 handquilted stitches per inch. The quilter is unknown.
The Old Order Amish have small farms and large houses.
