This Embroidered Flowers Star Patchwork Amish Quilt has blue and pink flowers cross stitched on white fabric with blue fabric as a border and wine red stars between the border edgings framing the embroidered blocks. Embroidered quilts are real treasures, and are hard to find because they take so long to make. Not only is each block embroidered by hand with an embroidery needle and embroidery floss, then the embroidered blocks must be sewn together with sashing which frames the embroidery, and finally it is put into the quilting frame and quilted by hand.
