This Embroidered 12 Bunny Months of the Year Amish Quilt Wall Hanging has been hand embroidered with 12 different bunny rabbit scenes for the 12 months of the year. Absolutely delightful, when you see the March bunny trying to hold onto his wind-blown umbrella, or the June bunny all dressed in her wedding gown. Every bunny was embroidered by hand, just amazing work! Embroidered quilts are real treasures, and are hard to find because they take so long to make. Not only is each block embroidered by hand with an embroidery needle and embroidery floss, then the embroidered blocks must be sewn together and the blocks all bordered with sashing which frames the picture and finally it is put into the quilting frame and quilted by hand. This authentic handquilted Amish Quilt Wall Hanging was embroidered and hand quilted by Sarah B who lives a short drive from us. There are approximately 7 handquilted stitches per inch on this Embroidered 12 Bunny Months of the Year Amish Quilt Wall Hanging from South Central Pennsylvania. Please note, you may see small dots where our quilter pricked her finger while embroidering this piece. I saw one small dot, but there may be another. >> ALSO Please NOTE: You will need to sew a sleeve or tabs on the back for easy hanging.
