From the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country, this handquilted quilt resembles the resting fertile fields of Lancaster County PA, with the varying hues of dark chocolate and mousse brown in the winter countryside. Earth Star Log Cabin Amish Quilt has approximately 5-6 handquilted stitches per inch, wonderfully small and even.
The Log Cabin Quilt pattern has grown to be a symbol of Americas values and ingenuity. Tradition has said that the central block is red, to symbolize the heart of the home, or the red chimney of the log cabin.
