Here is the Quilt top on Fannies treadle sewing machine.
This Dutch Spinning Star Amish Patchwork Wall Hanging Quilt makes quite a focal point and measures approximately 38 inches square. It is a beautiful quilt with an assortment of Dutch Color fabrics in burgundy, red, blue and green. Please note, the burgundy is a deep burgundy. Fannie P used foot power with her Treadle sewing machine to piece this wall hanging and then she handquilted it in the quilting frame made by her husband. Fannie P is our Old Order Amish Quilter from just over the mountain from us, and has hand quilted stitching measuring about 7-8 stitches per inch.
