This Diamond Star Galaxy Amish Quilt measures 102 x 112 inches and fits a Queen or King size bed. The Diamond Star Galaxy is a collection of dark chocolate fabric with raspberry truffle and chocolate mousse, with a little white chocolate thrown in all with a dusty rose border (this description is making me hungry!!) There is wonderful feathery quilting in a background of diamond quilting around the edges of the star. Esther M is Old Order Mennonite and has a quaint fabric shop in a small Plain community, where she fills her spare time between customers quilting masterpieces. Esther handquilted this wonderful Diamond Star Galaxy with approximately 7 handquilted stitches per inch.
Our Old Order Mennonite Quilter has been quilting ever since she can remember, and now supplements her husbands farming income with her small fabric shop and quilting for others. Quilting fills her early morning hours and slow times in her shop with creativity and color.
