This Dahlia Patchwork King Amish Quilt is a delight in color and in the technical making of the quilt. As you know, circles are difficult to sew, yet Lizzie accomplishes beauty in the complex. Our Amish quilter, Lizzie S pieced this quilt on her treadle sewing machine (foot power - no electricity!!) and then put it into her quilting frame and quilted it by hand. This Dahlia Patchwork King Amish Quilt measures approximately 103 x 107 inches to fit your King size bed. Note that it is almost square in measurements. This authentic handquilted Amish Quilt was hand quilted by Lizzie S who lives a short drive from us. There are approximately 5 handquilted stitches per inch on this Log Cabin Patchwork Amish Quilt from South Central Pennsylvania.
