Wonderfully handquilted, the piecing and shades of Blues, greens, burgundys, and tans are delightful on this stunning quilt from Lancaster County PA. There are approximately 5 - 6 handquilted stitches per inch. Colorful Double Wedding Ring Patchwork Amish Quilt has an ivory white background, with multicolors in the intertwined wedding rings.
Our neighbor, Linda S, is getting married this November, the month of Amish weddings. She has chosen to wear a light purple dress, which her mother made back in the summer. Her parents will host between 400 - 425 people at the wedding reception which is held in their home, in a temporary structure they built, attached to the walkout basement and wrap around porch.
