This Amish Sunshine Star Patchwork Wall Hanging Quilt was both pieced which is sewn together and hand quilted by Fannie P, our Amish Quilter who lives just over the mountain from my home. The squares on this wonderful wall hanging measure about 3/4 inch, and the entire Amish Sunshine Star Patchwork Wall Hanging Quilt measures approximately 41 inches square. It is a beautiful quilt with an assortment of fabrics in the traditional PA Dutch colors including Amish Black, burgundy, rose, green and perwinkle. The fabric on the back is an Amish grey. You can read about Fannie P in our Meet our Amish Quilters Information page. Here is a photo where you can see this wall hanging being quilted in Fannies home. Pieced and Handquilted by Fannie P with stitching measuring about 8 stitches per inch. You will need to sew a sleeve on the back for easy hanging.
