This Amish Spinning Star Patchwork Wall Hanging Quilt was both pieced which is sewn together and hand quilted by Fannie P, our Amish Quilter who lives just over the mountain from my home. The quilt pattern of spinning star is a difficult one to master, and to have it done so beautifully in a small quilt is astounding. The entire Amish Spinning Star Patchwork Wall Hanging Quilt measures approximately 39 inches square. It is a stunning with an assortment of fabrics in the traditional PA Dutch colors on a light ivory muslin background. You can read about Fannie P in our Meet our Amish Quilters Information page. Here is a photo where you can see this wall hanging in Fannies home. Pieced and Handquilted by Fannie P with stitching measuring about 8 stitches per inch. You will need to sew a sleeve on the back for easy hanging.
